You may or may not be familiar with the group; however, Brutha was signed to Def Jam by Jermaine Dupri in 2008. Immediately following the deal, they were then able to create a solid fan base with a reality show on BET “Brothers to Brutha”. The show gave fans an intimate look at their ‘road to success’. The self-entitled debut album was blessed with the talents of hip hop powerhouse Fabolous for the single “I Can’t Hear The Music”. Brutha, the album, also featured 112 and Jazze Pha. The sophomore album, is set to be released in 2011, as a result the group has actively begun touring and re-connecting with old fans while serenading their way into the hearts of new ones. The first single “One Day on This Earth” was written by legendary icon R.Kelly. They recently followed up with a second single officially released by Def Jam Monday (December 6) “High is Coming Down” which features arguably the hottest hip hop artist of 2010 Rick Ross as well as Twista.
